Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What kind of work does the Keir Foundation fund?
The Foundation generally funds commissions of new artistic work. The Foundation is presently particularly involved with international co-commissions where there are multiple exhibition or performance outcomes.
Does the Foundation call for submissions?
As we are conscious of keeping administrative overheads low, it is our practice to proactively seek out projects rather than call for formal submissions. We generally work 12 to 24 months ahead on new projects and do not, as a rule, provide short-term funding.
How many projects does the Foundation fund in a year?
The Foundation funds on average ten to twelve projects per year.
